Terms and Conditions for Bag & Shag, LLC

Welcome to www.bagandshag.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services operated by Bag & Shag, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Services Offered

We provide secure luggage pick-up and delivery services on Martha’s Vineyard Island.  We provide white-glove service at MVY airport and ferry terminals and deliver our customer’s luggage to their vacation rental or hotel.

  1. Booking and Payment
  • All bookings must be accurately completed online or via authorized channels.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings at our discretion.
  1. Liability and Limits

– Our liability for lost, damaged, or stolen luggage is limited to a maximum of $500 per incident, as outlined in our Liability Limitation policy.

-We are not responsible for delays, disruptions, loss or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, accidents, theft or acts of nature.

-While we make every effort to adhere to scheduled times, we do not guarantee specific delivery times due to unforeseen circumstances.

-We do not accept hazardous materials, perishable goods, illegal substances, valuables, or items deemed unsafe. Customers agree not to ship prohibited items.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

– Customers must ensure their luggage is properly packed and secure for transport.

-Customer must not leave anything of high value or medications in checked luggage.

– Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery information.

– Customers are responsible for all items placed in storage or transportation, including prohibited or dangerous items.

  1. Prohibited Items

We do not accept certain items, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, or illegal substances. Customers agree not to have such items in luggage.

  1. Cancellations and Changes

– Cancellations must be made within a 48 hours of reservation to receive a refund.

– Any changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, trademarks, and text, is the property of Bag & Shag, LLC and is protected by copyright laws.

  1. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bag & Shag, LLC from any damages, claims, or liabilities arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
